The rich heritage of Morella's Council and "Els Ports" county needs an institution which preserves, studies and spreads all those things which Morella has to show and, that is why the town has The Museums of Morella, which is the local institution dedicated to the investigation, dissemination and preservation of its heritage.

The museum has as an important characteristic that it is not placed in one single building, but it is spread around different locations in the town. This has allowed not only the rehabilitation of several civil, religious and military monuments but has given new usages to several locations of the town.

Therefore, we invite you to enjoy the visit to the exhibitions with a double purpose: the container is as important as the objects in it. In each location, you will find some of the paleontologic, historic or ethnographic treasures of our town.
