Textile industry, which was very powerful in Morella up to the beginning of the 20th century, is still important here since weavers offer us blankets and warm clothes which are very useful during our cold winters.
Find in our shops quality meats coming from cattle that have been bred in our lands. You cannot leave Morella without tasting our cold meats, our honey, our cheese, that is still prepared using ancient moulds, or our typical pastries.
These are our timetables:
- Tuesdays to Saturdays: open from 9:00am to 13:00pm and from 16:00pm to 20:00pm approximately.
- Sundays and Mondays: open only during mornings until 14pm approximately.
The "Mercat de la Plaça" (street market) is open on Thursdays and Sundays during the morning. Food is sold in Blasco d'Alagó street and textile and other products are sold in Pla dels Estudis.
The second weekend of September we celebrate our ancestral cattle market.
