Es va construir aprofitant la forma natural de la muntanya i ha estat testimoni de batalles, conquestes i coronacions al llarg dels segles. Les persones que hagen adquirit l\u2019entrada a trav\u00e9s d\u2019internet, hauran de respectar el torn d\u2019entrada.<\/p>\n<p>El recinte \u00e9s gran, rec\u00f3rrer la fortalesa militar fins a la pla\u00e7a d\u2019armes i tornar-ne a sortir els pot portar una hora. El pas de nombroses civilitzacions ha deixat la seva petjada en aquesta impressionant construcci\u00f3 habitada ininterrompudament des del III mil\u00b7lenni abans de Crist.<\/p>\n<p>La fortalesa militar constru\u00efda aprofitant la roca natural, deu la seua import\u00e0ncia i encant a aquesta situaci\u00f3 privilegiada. Aquesta construcci\u00f3 ha fet de l&#8217;enclavament un lloc estrat\u00e8gic de primer ordre, fortalesa inexpugnable que ha perm\u00e9s el domini i control del pas natural de l&#8217;interior a la costa.<\/p>\n<p>La mola on s&#8217;assenta l&#8217;actual castell ha estat habitada des de temps antics, s&#8217;han trobat restes del neol\u00edtic, del Bronze i del Ferro, tamb\u00e9 els ibers aplegaren fins a aquestes terres. Per\u00f2 \u00e9s a l&#8217;\u00e8poca romana i despr\u00e9s amb l&#8217;arribada dels visigots, \u00e0rabs i finalment els cristians, quan el castell agafa forma, es fortifica la mola i canvia segons les diferents civilitzacions que l&#8217;habiten.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_2&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.0.3&#8243;][et_pb_image src=&#8221;https:\/\/www.morella.net\/morellaturistica\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2019\/11\/Morella-2.jpg&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.4.2&#8243;][\/et_pb_image][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=&#8221;1_2,1_2&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.4.2&#8243;][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_2&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.4.2&#8243;][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.4.2&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>A partir de la conquesta cristiana als \u00e0rabs i les reformes dels segles XIII-XIV, la resta de futures transformacions estaran marcades pels avan\u00e7os tecnol\u00f2gics de l&#8217;art de la guerra.<\/p>\n<p>El castell tamb\u00e9 fou testimoni del pas de personatges ben importants: Abderraman III, el Cid, Jaume I, el Rei Ferran d&#8217;Antequera, el Papa Lluna, Sant Vicent Ferrer, el pr\u00edncep de Viana i el general Cabrera. Les seues accions i paraules formen part de la hist\u00f2ria de Morella.<\/p>\n<p>Podeu seguir les petjades d&#8217;aquesta hist\u00f2ria mentre aneu pujant a la pla\u00e7a d&#8217;armes, des d&#8217;on podreu volar pel cel de Morella.
