Els Ports Mountain Bike Center – Route 3 Xiva de Morella

AFTER THE BARRANCOS AND CLIFFS

On this route we will climb as much unevenness as we will go down later. Indeed, we will have the unusual opportunity to be able to ascend long stretches of footpath, some of land, others of rock or of paved stairs. Thanks to them, this route will test our expertise, and our power, a pleasure for many MTB lovers. But not all paths will be taken up, it is said that both path and climb we will go down later. We will find dark stretches of steep descent between pine forests, -with some revolt for fine climbers-, stretches turned in the oak, fast if we want and very entertaining, and then a long stretch of path that runs hanging on the rocks that close a beautiful ravine, to flatten in the middle of the cliff, and then undertake the descent through a series of cobbled curves.

It is recurring in this guide to warn that these sections, which have a high appeal for more technical fans, should not serve as a deterrent for other quieter fans. The question is in the predisposition of each one. What I could not claim, -or for some or for others-, is to make this a quick route. The tour invites you to enjoy the landscape and the road. There are other routes for those who focus only on sports. Here it is the opposite, and the technical points are that: points, are short and localized sections, linked by much less demanding ones. If we do not want to try them, it will be enough every time to walk a few meters and ride again on the MTB to continue enjoying the route.
